![]() ![]() Instead you made some comic strip that literally makes me unwilling to play them. I feel that you could make subs much closer to the real submarines as they existed - much stealthier, firing salvos of unguided torpedoes, but with need to periodically surface to re-charge batteries and ventilate compartments. But the concept of submarines, as they are implemented now, is so distant from reality that it is simply disgusting. Look guys, I understand that you are not developing a simulator. When submerged, WoWs submarines outrun battleships. In WoWs we do have this ridiculous concept of "guiding torpedoes by pings" - something that have never been heard of. In reality, submarines were firing either unguided torpedoes running a straight path, or passive homing torpedoes. You can stay underwater as much as you want, and you can even "recharge" the battery! In the game the battery is, in fact, infinte. They had to re-surface in order to re-charge it. Real submarines had to be very careful about draining the battery. They have absolutely nothing common with the submarines per se, as we know it from historical and technological point of view. But their current implementation makes me sick. Submarines could be a great addition to the game. It is rather overall realistic concept of gameplay - fires and flooding ballistics and armor penetration ship classes and their handling. When I speak of realism, I mean not the detailed re-creation of technical characteristics of historic ships. I start ed playing World of Warships because, from my point of view, the game had a unique blend of realism and action a bland that made it really fun and interesting to play. ![]()
